EMPLOYMENT AD TREASURER ELMIRA WATER BOARD The Elmira Water Board, a municipal water utility, seeks candidates for this important management position. The Treasurer is the Chief Financial Officer of the Elmira Water Board, reporting to the General Manager and the elected Board of Commissioners. Responsibilities include: managing the accounting, banking and investment activities; recommending and overseeing policies in the areas of customer service, account collections, purchasing and disbursing; and supervision of the Office Manager and Meter Department Supervisor. Other duties involve administration of windows NT network and preparation of all financial reports. Qualifications: Applicants should possess a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business Administration. Five years of progressively responsible experience, at least two of which shall have been in a related supervisory capacity.
